I had more to do outside of the house than typical today. Here is what I wore:

  • My recently thrifted top (featuring an "I voted sticker" I acquired after doing my civic duty for today's statewide primary election)
  • Navy pleated skirt
  • Denim jacket, which mostly had to stay unworn due to the temps
  • Shiny sneakers (Ecco Soft 7s from years ago)
  • Simple necklace
I felt quite put together. I used to wear this skirt to my professional job, which I quit in 2019, and to be honest I was put off wearing it for years due to its associations with work. But it was fun to wear it today with a look that skewed more casual than professional.
