Today I really wanted to wear my brown spat boots. I really love the style and comfort, but I don't wear them as often as I should because I find brown a difficult color to style. Anyway, I decided to just go with the brown theme instead of fighting with it, and pulled out a couple of other less-worn brown items in my wardrobe. The top is teal knit with a brown woven top portion with a pussy bow. I tried it both tucked (1) and untucked (2) and ultimately went with untucked because I felt like the material was weirdly showing my belly button when tucked (may have just been in my head though, it was not tight at all so I don't know why it was doing that). I also wore a very comfy big cashmere cardigan, which again does not get worn as much as it should because of the color. It felt refreshing to wear a cardigan after wearing 9 jackets in a row!
Anyway, what do you think? Can brown and I get along?
