Angie's posts have got me thinking about wearing more color in the winter, and also using navy or ink blue as a neutral rather than my default black. So here's two running errands in the snow outfits I wore this week.

Experimenting with the pink and olive combination (Columbia boots to keep it real, although I'd go with tan or muted brown leather options if it wasn't all slush).

Magenta and navy. I really liked these colors, but the skirt and puffer jacket together looked pretty boxy to me after looking at the photo so I semi-tucked the underneath shirt (longish drapey navy), so that the join of the two colors was an arc rather than a straight line.

(As an aside, taking these photos is a learning process, my head isn't actually that huge or my feet and legs that tiny, does it work best if the camera is at waist height instead?)

I also tried this checked Target coat on while shopping that went well with the the magenta/navy colors, but I'm not sure how I feel about the gathered waist.
