WIW breton stripes and layering

First time wearing the breton tee from Oasis It is really soft and comfy and I love how the golden buttons on the shoulders make it less casual.

I needed layering because of cold temperature (-8C / 17F) that will rise during the day (0C/32F). I layered with an almost cropped black cardi and my black blazer. I like how the cardi is shorter in the back #3, but I'm not so sure about cardi and tee in general. Is it too sloppy? The blazer and tee seems to hit at the same length and I wonder if it would be better with a shorter or longer topper?

I like both the cardi and blazer, but have a slight preference for the blazer. The cardi doesn't look sloppy, but definitely more casual than the more structured blazer. I struggle with knit on knit especially in winter when they stick to each other.

Both look great to me... But they are different on vibes...

Harmonica but that is 1 fab tee so versatile!!!

I see what you mean with knit on knit. I haven't put it into words like you, but have very often grabbed a cardi and then changed to another topper. Yes, they do stick to each other, especially when the top is not very bodycon

Great sweater! I prefer it with the blazer. I have the same problem as jlsloane with knit on knit - too sticky for me to get everything to lay flat.

Love it both ways. I think the blazer definitely reads more polished but I love the casual polished feel of the cardi. The length of the cardi is fun!

Just love this paired with the blazer. It is great how the colour in the striped shirt matches the skirt. Great outfit!

I ended up wearing the cardi in my office and the blazer when meeting colleges, a happy combo. I'll keep the knit on knit in mind because that was really useful info and made me more aware of comfort and fit

Tina - the sweater is actually navy blue/red and the pencil is black. The quality of the pic's are poor, I know

I'm late here, but this is a classic outfit combination that should be repeated. You look fab both with the blazer (my fav) and the cardigan. I love the breton, it is really pretty, and suits you so well.

Both versions look good to me, but I do prefer the blazer for the structure it adds (also, love those lapels!) and also love how this outfit looks without any topper at all (so clean!).
