I haven't posted a WIW in ages, so I thought I should own up to what I'm wearing currently. I've been wearing some variation of this outfit a lot lately. Often with my straight cut jeans, but today with my mid-waisted skinny jeans. It cruelly breaks the rules about leg elongation, both because of the light footwear and the fact that the jeans are shoved inside the boots. However, I think that the fact that I have longer legs, the boots are high heeled and the jeans have a higher waist help offset that, so overall I think it gets a pass for figure flattery.

Had to sneak in the picture of my white parka, just to show the depths (height?) of my neutrality.

Jeans are JCrew Midrise Toothpics, Tee from Old Navy, Snakeskin Belt (hard to see but there) is old Nordstrom clearance, and Boots are Sam Edelman Salina 2s. Love my puffer--from Land's End last year. White is a crazy choice for someone with a 2 year old, but sometimes we have to live on the edge. Somehow the white makes it seem very modern and urban to me, less outdoorsy.
