Hi,

Here are some recent outfits. I've been branching out from my beloved denim jeans to black trousers lately.

#1-Black and Denim
Flared trousers with denim.

#2-White Long After Labor Day
Inspired by MaryK I'm wearing white long after the holiday has passed.

#3-Long Layering
This jumper has no sleeves so I have to layer it.

Gah, you look great, Lisa! That's how you wear a denim jacket in the fall. I feel like I hardly wear mine because I'm always wearing jeans. GREAT idea and most excellent execution. Love how the scarf echos the boots in 2. That is so fresh looking. LOVE the moody dark colors of 3. FAB x 3!

Loving #3 too. Such a perfectly practical and attractive look.

But #2 takes the cake:

KILLER to the power of KILLER. The colours and wearing pink for BCAM. Incredibly fresh combination for Autumn.

Yeah! I love #2 too. The white jacket is fantastic with the texture and cut and everything. Gorgeous! Every one of these looks is a total winner. A triple crown win!

Kellygirl-Thanks! I held off on a denim jacket for a while because I always wear jeans. And I am only pairing this jacket with non denim right now. But I adore the look of black and denim together!

Angie-Thanks! I was drawn to the pink outfit after your blush jacket post. And I'm glad you kept mentioning trousers because I'm really enjoying mine! They are lighter in weight than denim, and actually quite comfy.

K can shop-Thanks! I've worn this white blazer all summer but coworkers noticed it more now than in the summer, go figure!

Love your new trousers, Lisa! You do dressy trousers and jeans equally well:-)
I've always loved the look of black dressy pants + a white shirt + a cheeky denim jacket and this is such a brilliant variation on that theme. Beautiful colours in your scarf too.

Outfit three looks so cosy and stylish at the same time. I'm also enjoying wearing my knee-high boots again!

And outfit 2, wow! The colour combination and silhouette are fabulous. Such a great blazer too.

I just love #1; the combo of black trousers with denim is fantastic!

And the colors in #2 are a really fantastic mix, where the sum is greater than the parts!

#3 is great too, but I adore 1 and 2!

Isis-Thanks! I agree, for #2, on their own the ieces are only "meh" but this combination really worked well.

Makrame-Thanks! I am happy I can start wearing scarves again in our cooler weather.

Rachylou-Thanks! It took me 2 years (and two miss purchases) to find a denim jacket that was flattering on me.

WOW, Lisa, #2 is SO fantastic on you! That is one lovely outift, in every way.

#1 is also wonderful - you look great in your black trousers, and love them with the denim jacket.

It's fun to bring the scarves out to play again, isn't it? I've been enjoying mine, too.
