Good morning from warm Southern California! I'd love to send a little good weather and sunshine your way, if I could. Because of this, I've been able to wear Spring-like clothes and yesterday, I decided to wear a shirt that was on the chopping block. I paired it with the cream Banana Republic jeans, which I LOVE, for their fit and softness and my anke-strap heels.

I was about to get rid of this navy Brooks Brothers non-iron shirt, because of the V-neck styling of the shirt, which I don't really like, due to my long neck. I gave it another chance by adding a necklace to fill in the space and it seems to be okay.

Marley had asked about the Tory Burch dress I recently bought and, while at first it seemed a little conservative for my tastes, I have to say that this is one of the most comfortable dresses I have ever owned. It has a small green and blue print with a substantial sash belt. I'm showing it with a few shoe changes and the last few photos are strictly for a laugh. Last year, I bought a teal faux fur vest and it matches the dress really well. I have yet to wear it, in public, and think it may be better served with jeans and a sweater in the autumn. In fact, the last photo shows how overwhelming the vest looks on me and I'm not inclined to strut around town with it pulled back as in photo 11. I feel a bit like Wilma Flinstone in it, but I just had to share this in case you needed a SMILE today.

Thank you for looking and I welcome your suggestions and comments.
