I'm jumping around a little chronologically, but some of you in the northeast may remember the extraordinarily warm Saturday last month. My area went above 70, and I was on a date with my boyfriend that day, the very last of the light shows for the season, a walk through at a botanical flower garden that was decorated for Christmas one last weekend.
It is rare around here that I get to create a Christmas themed outfit with bare legs, though unfortunately I had to be a little subtle because of the late date. We were using mass transit to get there, and so were in other places along the way, and prints would be so out of place in January. I did wear printed socks, though.
My outfit: Mostly summer clothes. A short sleeve red chiffon top, that has a few pleats and some small ruffles that my not be evident in the photographs; green pleated skirt that comes to just above the tops of my knees;white socks with holly and red trim; and white canvas Keds Champion sneakers.
