Joy-Thanks! Great idea about the white blazer, I'll pair with with the shirt in #4 and repost in another WIW.
Suz-Thanks! The blazer is BCBG from last year. It was my splurge purchase for the summer season. The blazer is woven for the body and half of the sleeves. The back half of the sleeves (that you can't see in the photo) is actually knit. This makes the blazer really comfy but it has more structure than my "all knit" blazers do.
Modgrl-Thanks! It took me a few years to find my current white blazer. I wanted something with some type of texture so I wouldn't look like a waiter in it. I only started wearing it "out of season" this year. I figured, why let it sit for 6 months right? And I just adore the green jeans, a nice change from my blues.
Isis-Thanks! I hope you will post your white blazer outfit.
Soniakatya-Thanks! I wear a lot of blazers. Last year striped blazers were abundant in stores and eventually the style wore me down. It's one of my favorite pieces right now.
Aida-Thanks! I am just a boots and blazer kind of gal. Always the first two items I look at in stores.
CocoLion-Thanks! It's interesting you mentioned boot contrast. I notice I try to tie in the boot color with the top half of my outfit. The stronger the contrast this year, the more I reach for the shorter boots. The less the contrast the more I am reaching for taller boots.
Asingh and Kirti-Thanks!
Mochi-Thanks! At work I wore a blazer and a scarf for a headshot. And the creative director really enjoyed that my outfit was "funky" because the blazer was cobalt and the scarf was bold colors and print.
Atlantia-Thanks! I'll have to check out some varying top lengths with my blazers next time I'm in the stores. That's something I've never considered before. Neat idea!
RunnerRae-Thanks! I do adore my blazers, it's the most abundant item in my closet after my jeans.
