WIW: Bootcuts and a navy top for a stay at home day

Today was another day at home with the kid. The sun came out and it was warm in the house. I decided to try a column of color to counteract the stumpiness created by wearing bootcuts with thong sandals in the house. This was my first time wearing this top at home. Feels great to wear nicer stuff around the house.

Would love feedback.

I agree, it feels great to wear nicer stuff at home. As a SAHM I've found I am more willing to wear my good clothes if my shoes are comfortable and slip-on like yours. I often have a nicer pair of flats or sandals to switch out when I leave the house for a little more oomph. Also, I use an apron to protect my clothing when doing dishes, art projects, etc. Feels kind of retro (sans heels and pearls!)

As a stay at home mother, I know that I don't feel like a slump and take better care of myself when I dress nicely. Great job putting together this outfit.

I like the look so much that you have inspired me. I think I will be digging out my navy tee from the back of the closet to wear with my boot cut jeans.
