After all the inspiring threads last week, I was inclined to pull my bootcuts from the depths of my closet. I rarely wear them, particularly in the winter. Wearing them today makes me remember why. The wet hems... We still have snow on the ground, but I'm not going to be out a lot today, so thought I would be in the clear. Also, I don't usually wear footwear in the house, so I end up rolling the hems, not a flattering look. I'm wearing the boots for now, to prevent that fashion disaster.

Looking at the pics I do like the look of my legs in this type of jean. But only with heels, I think these are three inch boots. I gave most of my bootcuts to my sister over the last couple years, as I found they were all too low on the rise. I think I'll be on the search for a few new pairs this spring, probably in a narrower boootcut shape and a mid rise. Paired here with a Joie blouse, which looks all askew in the pictures.
