WIW: Bootcut bootcamp - two weekend outfits

Here are two final outfits in this week's Bootcut Boot Camp started by Rae. Yesterday's one features dark colors with eggplant bootcuts and today's one is a super casual version of all winter-white outfit with cream bootcuts. After five days of wearing them in the row I can say that, at least for me, it takes a bit more thought to style them in a current way, but it is quite possible. So since I own quite a few pairs of jeans in this cut, from now on I will make an effort to wear them at least once a week, weather permitting.

#1: Grey plaid peplum jacket with metallic sheen - Zara, Charcoal tee - Gap, eggplant skinny bootcuts - Rich&Skinny, grey suede wedge booties -Aerosoles
#2: Chunky cream sweater - Gap, cream bootcuts - Paige Premium, taupe snakeski belt - Nine West, taupe booties - Report

#1 is quintessential Tanya Style. How can that not be an 11 out of 10 :). I remember those great pieces!

#2 is KILLER. Oh my word. So 2013!!! White on white perfection.

These are both fabulous. Among the many things I always notice in your outfits, and have probably mentioned before, is fantastic fit - everything is Just. Right. I think you and Lisa were the reason I tried bootcuts, and I continue to admire them on you both.

I also remember jacket #1. So pretty! And #2 is just gorgeous. Soft and pretty, and all white!! Right on track with Angie's post!

I LOVE #2. And, speaking of bootcuts, I recently bought a dark denim pair and I think it's such a refreshing look now, after wearing skinnies for so long. But, I do have to wear them with pointed toe shoes with a bit of a heel - just what I feel looks good on my short stumpy legs - so that makes them a little less versatile for me when I feel like wearing flats.

That jacket in #1 is EPIC. Love it with the classic bootcuts; they really let the jacket shine. #2 feels totally current and Spring-like. I am happy to have your Boot Camp pics to come back to when I need some inspiration.

Jacket #1 is very special for me, as it was a birthday present from one of my best friends back when I lived in Boston. We were shopping together, that is I was playing her personal stylist, and I spotted this jacket and fell in love with it. For some reason I am still to comprehend, Zara had it priced at $160, and their jackets are rarely/never that expensive. So I decided to pass. However, my birthday was few weeks later and my friend was extremely generous and got me the jacket! I was shocked, I believe I almost burst into tears ( because of the gesture, not the jacket itself). So every time I wear it I get those warm fuzzy feelings. I do not think I will ever get rid of it, when it becomes super worn/dated it will go in my keepsake box.

Love your story about the jacket from your friend Tanya, so special. And it looks amazing on you! You wear bootcut so perfectly with your PPL! In #2 you look so sleek and modern. Head to toe white can be tricky, but you did it brilliantly!
