WIW: Bomber and Boots - YouLookFab Forum

I wore this for the morning school run. I am not sure if this looks seasonally confused with bare legs, but it was perfect for our cool morning. Last winter I was just building my winter wardrobe and got some fun and interesting pieces while doing so. This bomber is one of those pieces ... bought on a steep sale from Mango after Angie introduced me to the bomber jacket. I wore it exactly once last winter! This winter I plan to wear it more

I am wearing an embroidered black and white dress (F&F/old) with F21 cut out boots (last winter) and Mango Zebra Print Bomber (last winter). Simple and easy peasy With my studded handbag .. this might be a bit ALGO. But I kind of like it because the color palette is monochromatic. What do you think?

Well excuse me but no one should look that good on the school run! Just kidding of course, I so wish all the mums looked so fab. This is a wonderful outfit. I love it. It totally works and you totally carry it well.

Super outfit, Neel! I don't find it seasonally confused; the bare legs go with the cut-out booties. You have such great style. I find this look full of interest, rather than too much going on; you're right, the black/white/gray palette keeps it calm.

I agree with Sharan, not seasonally confused at all with the cut-out booties. And such great pattern mixing with the zebra print bomber (very fun piece, I'm glad to hear you'll be sporting it more often this Winter!), the embroidered dress, and the studs on the handbag. Keeping everything black and white creates visual interest without it feeling ALGO. You are one stylish Mum, my word.

Wow, super glam MOTG! I love the pattern mix with the embroidered dress (is it animal print), with the animal print zebra stripe bomber! Mixy matchy genius! And the white studded handbag ties it all together. Love the cutout booties too--perfect for a mild winter day. (I love to do "seasonally confused" too since our winters are mild). You must have wowed all the other parents at dropoff!

Crutcher - All the dads today were admiring the mum with a belted tunic dress, bare legs and tall slouchy boots. She had make up on with impeccable long blow dried hair too! Umm ... No I wouldn't think I am the coolest mum

Fabulous outfit, and I agree that the bare legs are perfect with your cut-out booties. They are the perfect footwear for in-between days, and they give you a lot of latitude about which direction to take your outfit in. You look so smart and glam. Love it.

'Seasonally confused' is probably relative to climate and local sensibilities.
Your mix works great in mild coastal California where I live. Maybe you live here too?
