I wore this dress a week or so back and thought I really had to share it here because I know how much Angie loves colour!

Colour does not excite me the way black does BUT sometimes colour does catch my eye and strongly appeal to me.

This dress has the gorgeous colours (red and blue), it’s a plaid and the cut is a touch retro. All these elements make it a very interesting dress to me. It is different for me but it still feels like me. I loaded it with black accessories which I realise may not have been everyone’s choice but subtle accessories weren’t going to cut it for me lol.

The dress is from a lovely maker in Sydney and is made here in Australia. She often uses dead-stock fabrics, and recently created some jackets using upholstery fabrics she was given. Her designs are always very small runs which makes her pieces that bit more special because not everyone will have them
