I’ve loved all the glam Sophia inspired looks. Buuuut… today I craved earthy boho.

Jumpsuit: gifted from a neighbor, probably Temu
Cardigan: handknit by me
Necklace: also gifted, from a friend
Earrings: Maurice’s
Makeup: 12 Blueprints dark autumn eyeshadow for liner. Bronzer on face and eyes. 12 Blueprints “Baha” dark autumn blush. NYX Butter Gloss in Praline.

The jumpsuit is likely on its last season. It’s 100% polyester. It attracts every shred of cat hair within 10 miles. (It’s not static cling, it just attracts it..) It’s also pilling at the leg hems. It served me well. I love the comfiness of the shirred bodice, wide legs, soft sleeves. I might try replacing it with a better quality version.

Temp is 50s F right now, so a chunky yet airy, lacy sweater feels right.

Only thing I don’t love is my shoes; had to put on my pointy flats. A strap on my metallic gladiator sandals popped out of a glued seam. Thinking and hoping bit of glue and a clamp will fix it easily. Really need to get my tush in gear and order a second pair of sandals.

Life has been very full. Henry nearly died a second time due to blocked bladder. We discovered it and rushed him back to the ER vet hospital just in the very nick of time. (His potassium was so high that his heart rate had dropped and he wouldn’t have made it much longer.) Turns out his urethra was abnormally tapered and narrowed at the tip, so he would never overcome blockages or crystal formation on his own. He had urthera widening surgery (PU surgery). He’s spent the last 3 weeks locked up in our bedroom, recuperating with a cone around his neck 24/7. His recovery has required a lot of watchfulness and nursing on our part. Mostly so he didn’t get the cone off, lick the surgical site and cause scar tissue to form, which could cause another blockage and necessitate another PU surgery. (He still got the cone off 6 times!)

In the midst of this, my husband’s uncle passed away. We’ve been cleaning the house for when my in-laws arrive in 4 days. And we go three new chicks for our broody hen to raise this summer.

Despite this, I made a few more autumn clothing purchases. Will share those sometime soonish.

xo!
