Thanks so much, texstyle, jlpp, goldenpig, shevia, and Cerinda!
Angie, thanks so much! You're directly responsible for my adding more cream to my wardrobe. I'm really glad to have found a "white" I'm comfortable in.
smittie, yes! These outfits are definitely more boho than urban, but the simpler, less layered looks I was wearing this summer and fall skewed a bit more urban. I'd say that boho is the dominant style in Denver, though, so there's that. (And thank you for the house compliment. There are definitely corners here and there where I feel like all the textures and colors are in place, but it's a work in progress.)
Diane, I'm sure everyone in the store thought I'd just gone through a breakup or something, hauling loads of clothes into the dressing room with tears streaming down my face. Fingers crossed I'm done with dental stuff for a while, though.
unfrumped, I totally agree with you that a lot of boho clothing out there is "festival wear" aimed at a younger, trendier audience. The higher-end stuff is out there though!
kerlyn, I find home decor easier than outfits in a lot of ways. First and foremost, I can't just add plants for a layer of texture in outfits.
Kiwigal, I repeat all the time! Sometimes, multiple times in a week!
(Back to respond more later... working my way up from the bottom!)
