WIW: Blue, white and brave

The bravery is in pairing the indigo-dyed top, a pigment notorious for rubbing off, with white jeggings. after I got past white bottoms first, then white anything with messy tot, and then wearing white and bone and even showing my toes (I prefer closed shoes as I tend to be a muck magnet).

Comfy. Cool. Not sure very stylish though.

Apologies for the crumple up top. I was wearing the young chap.

Aside: I did get a bit of dirt rubbed into the sandal strap. advice on cleaning, please?

Lovely outfit. The tunic is a great colour for you. Are the shoes leather? You could try a little mild dish soap rubbed gently on the mark. Or, check with a cobbler to see what he suggests.

Muck magnet - I love it! You look so crisp and fresh! Very brave with a little one, but you look fab! No cleaning advice specifically. I have this little bottle of "Grandma's spot remover" that's pretty reliable on leather. Good luck!

I think you have a lot of style in this: White pants, gladiator sandals, hi/low hem. Love the look! I always use a leather cleaner on my shoes, although I've been known to scrub with a damp sponge, too!

you look great in this combo - and I must say I'm impressed - white pants with boy children or any small children is a very BRAVE thing to do!! I did without for 10 years because of the sticky hug factor!!

I love white and blue together! I think this looks great on you. Kudos for wearing white with children! I'm just starting to get over my aversion to white pants on the weekends when I'm around the kids (I have no problem with white pants on work days since I'm not around the kids on those days and can change as soon as I get home).

I love your outfit from head to toe!
At least white can be bleached when needed. I figure that gives it a big advantage over other light colors like cream. I just plan that I will need to wash whites very frequently, and often have more duplicates of white things than of other colors.

I faved this Manidipa. It's really perfect, balanced with no excess. The strappiness of your shoes provide just the right amount of ornateness.

But you are brave re. the dye and kiddie with white. Lol.

I love this combination - very summer fresh to me. I'd let muck on shoes dry and brush off with old toothbrush. Swab with damp cloth if necessary but not too wet. I wear white all the time and am notorious with spilling. I find the sun will bleach out any stain quite nicely.

Wow. am.overwhelmed by all the love! you people are too kind. it is so much our environmental norm here with this silhouette and the items themselves that I felt it was unremarkable except for the cpurage it took. nice to know I lookwd nice! Thank you all.

Leather cleaner gone on shoes and drying. maybe another application tomorrow too as I think it's smudged in a bit. poor new sandals got stuck with a careless and clumsy owner! missvee's idea will be last resort... I think it is a split leather not sure so treating as delicate.

Blue and white together is a go-to for me and I love this! I'm not sure what you can do for the sandal smudge, but a little saddle soap, perhaps, or good old-fashioned soap and water with a little high-tech laundry spray, Zout? Stay cool, stay brave. You look great.
