It is day 3 of the neutrals and blue week of my +Blue/-Blue challenge. I realized when I was heading out the door that the red in the floral of the top I have on might be considered cheating, but I am going to allow it since it is my challenge and plus I was running late.
Today I am wearing a navy blue floral faux-wrap top, cream coloured cashmere sweater with jewelled buttons, slim grey pants, and short suede boots. For accessories I added hoop earrings, a silver watch, and sapphire pendant.
I'm afraid I am in need of some critical eyes regarding this top. Is it just too much volume to be worn untucked? It has a faux-wrap bubble hem in front and a rather long tail (butt flap) in the back. I took a photo from the side so you can see what I mean. I am thinking I will either commit to wearing it tucked, or having the back hemmed to be just a touch shorter. What do you think? Yay or Nay: Does it work untucked? Should I bother to alter?
