Lacking a non-jeans inspiration, yesterday's Timeless Casual post was the perfect inspiration for today's outfit. I realize it's a bit cheating, but I like the way it came together.

After looking at these pics (and lightening them until the pants were a reasonable accurate taupe), I added a black belt to hide the fit issue at the waist a bit, half-tucked the shirt, so it's longer at the sides, and I re-tied the scarf, like the inspiration photo. But my kids don't want to take another picture of me.
I'm also wearing my pierced ears sans earrings. Not because I meant to, I just forgot to put some in. My piercings are rather recent, so I really should wear some.
