Thank you for taking the time to post: Star, Runcarla, Kyle, Jaime, Kate, catherine, Angie, Firecracker, JAileen, and Suz. I know I have a bad tendency to post and then disappear for a day or two. I generally have a super hard time responding on my iPhone mini, and avoid my laptop unless I'm in my basement doing my laundry.
I find it very interesting to learn which outfits folks like best because I really can't tell ahead of time. The favorites tend to be the ones with the most current pieces (like the cropped vests). FWIW I'm embarking on a journey to wear neglected items and decide if it's time to pass them on or if I just need to find new ways to wear them.
@Firecracker (Sharan): I didn't layer down vests; Bernardo made an inner lining in a different color which also zips.
For this exercise I also wanted to show a couple of Lands End items (plaid turtleneck and cream speckly cardigan) that I ordered recently from Nordstrom. I'd been avoiding LE because their cuts tend to look frumpy on me plus they charge for returns. Nordstrom makes returns free, and LE sells Petites. Conclusion: LE is hit or miss for me. Cuts run big, so I would need a P0 in their shirts, and P2 is the smallest they sell on Nordstrom.com. The red of their turtleneck and cardigan is an orangey red that most definitely does not say Christmas or Valentine's Day and somehow looked off. But their longjohn tops and bottoms come in Petites and will get their first outing when I go out next Sunday night for a light show at the zoo! They seem like they will be warmer than Heattech.
