Here are some recent outfits.

Layering a shirt today.

A favorite outfit formula also featured on my blog.

I got the idea to mix these colors from a coworkers sweater.

#4-Less Layers
Less layering today.

There is something about #1 I really like -- the fact the stripes outline the curve of your body. It's a very nice effect. The tension of the straight lines with the curves is striking. Very nice combinations.

I can't stop going back to the simplicity of #4. I love the sweater, tank peeking underneath and athletic shoes in the same b&w colors. And the bootcut jeans look so fresh, maybe I'll wear some tomorrow. I have neglected mine lately. Your waist looks teeny-tiny in this outfit.

Love #1 as well, and the green jacket is so cheery, perfect for a rainy day.

I love the stripes! The first outfit in particular is pulling at me. I love how the brown in your boots is picked up in the sweater's trim. You look so good (and yes, that is one tiny waist you have). Show it off! I'm off to check out your blog.

#1 is just perfect! Love the striped sweater with the shirt peeking out from underneath and how the brown boots picks up the camel in the sweater. Gorgeous!

Day Vies-Thanks! I'm a big fan of stripes as the "pattern" in my closet.

CocoLion-Thanks! I wear skinny jeans a lot so the days I wear the bootcuts it's a refreshing change of pace for me. Plus I like how they look with sneakers and more bulky footwear more than when they are paired with skinny jeans. Then it looks so heavy on the feet.

Clearlyclaire and Transcona Shannon-Thanks! I purchased the sweater in #1 because the day I saw it, I was wearing my brown boots and liked how it looked.

Angie-Thanks! Sometimes I think the lighter boots look nicer than the black one's. It must be the light hair.

All great outfits, Lisa but extra love for 1 and 4! The stripes, blouse and jacket in 1 is such a great combination, and agree about the simplicity in 4, the Vneck is so flattering for you. Looks like you are all set for the 2013 color of the year, emerald!

I like all of these, but #1 is my favourite - the striped sweater, button down, boots and shades are so chic together. Green is a great colour on you, too.
