The first outfit is WIW to Grandparent's Day at my 10 year old grandson's school, and then to my book club. The sweater is new, and I debated whether to keep it because it feels very preppy to me, which is not a direction I'm aiming toward. So I tried it with my Vince track pants with a satin stripe down the side, and I felt like that "de-prepified" them enough to feel more like me. I do have some Vince slim black tuxedo-style pants that I could wear instead- would that be better?
I tried layering with a couple of different jackets and couldn't decide. I ended up wearing it without a jacket, since it wasn't too cool out, but what do you think: does either of these look OK with this outfit?
The second outfit I didn't actually wear out of the house, but was trying Angie's formula from today with white jeans and a statement pullover. I'm not sure whether I think it works or not.
Comments, questions, suggestions for improvement are always welcome!
