To a black tie function at a fancy hotel. Banquet, reading and dancing in honor of the Scots poet Robert Burns. I knew some people would be wearing kilts so I thought it might be the perfect occasion for this full gold pleather skirt! And the woven white boots which were comfy for the traditional dancing and also sort of nodded to a warm hand-knitted sweater texture. On the whole the outfit was comfy and looked appropriately “olde Times” though perhaps not super sexy.

 ode to the haggis
 boots and sparkle tights
ivory beaded clutch with gold tassels added, fun manicure, and bling (pearl and titanium arrowhead earrings)
 outfit
