I had an eye appointment yesterday, so I wore this dress because it's fun and easy. I love how it flows behind me as I walk and how the sun shines through the sheer bottom. It's also a very versatile dress that I have worn with black sandals, blush runners, burgundy boots, white boots and layered turtlenecks.

I dug out my vintage Dr. Martens, circa 1997, paired with black socks, black moto, black leather belt (also about 25 years old, amazing quality, bought at the CNE, our "fair"), and black leather hobo bag, to temper the sweetness of the dress. Shoes need a polish, but I'm going to say that's part of the Rough Around the Edges vibe (RATE). Went to the mall afterwards, stopped in at Anthropologie to look around waiting for my pupils to return to normal size.

Comments suggestions always welcome. Thanks for looking!
