When I logged on this morning I was happy to see that I am now a veteran here! Later I think I'll post some style evolution musings, but for now, here's WIW today to run errands.
I've been focusing more on casual GOTG outfits lately, because that's what my real life mostly involves. This outfit feels comfortable and cheerful for dashing around getting my errands done, while hopefully still looking polished and presentable. Since I'm on team matchy-matchy, I wore three different polka dot pieces, just for fun.
Does it work?
Your comments and suggestions for improvement are always welcome.
Black cashmere sweater- Vince. It's lightweight and so soft with a loose and slouchy fit. It also has a slight V-neck in the back that I think is a nice detail. I hope it doesn't look sloppy with its relaxed fit.
Polka dot blouse- Collective Concepts, from Piperlime
Cobalt skinnies- Loft. They're a very soft, stretchy, fine-wale corduroy. (Look away, Angie!)
Black buckle boots- Born. I've been enjoying shorter boots this year. I think I got a little tired of skinnies tucked into knee-high boots.
Black bracelet with pearl polka dots- Ann Taylor
Old silver gray leather jacket with a slight metallic finish- Chico's (!) It's pretty boxy, and I hope not too dated. It's great for layering, though.
Polka dot scarf- Banana Republic
Bag- Bottega Veneta
