Thank you Aquamarine. I’ll take the early spring. Spring arrives late here and doesn’t last long. It is usually my most challenging season to dress myself. It doesn’t feel right for me to wear springlike colors when we eight have snowbanks or mud season outside.
Katerina, you are incredibly sweet. It is quite a compliment to think that you want to borrow an idea from me.
Bonnie, I think you are right. The little doses of white make a nice difference.....I think I am going to strive to add more to my outfits.
Jane, this was the first time I have worn a scarf this way. The scarf is so large that each time it tried to knot it, it just looked bulky and wrong. A simple over the shoulder drape was the solution. I will try it with some of my other scarves. I really liked the result.
Angie, thank you so much. Agreed! Light boots have become an essential for me......first time ever! I think I may be romancing some lighter footwear this year. Yes, DD is a clever girl. She noticed that I have been wearing more blue this winter.
Suz, Angie is right again! This outfit was so easy, too!
Thank you Smittie. My daughter picked the scarf wisely. The blue is almost a denim shade and the white is kind of a gray white....matches quite a bit of my hair.
Krishnidoux, you saw why outfit number one worked. I just knew it did, but hadn’t identified exactly why: the white geometrics. Thank you for noticing what I failed to. It is a lesson I will carry forward. I wore my plain black booties with outfit number one. I like your description of outfit number 2 very much. Fun, not fussy and approachable is always a win.
