WIW: black and white for the office

Told you I sometimes wear something other than blue! I didn't get a chance to take a picture of this outfit at work, but imagine I'm wearing grey pointy toe heels and looking a bit less worn down.

I found myself at the mall after work returning something, so I stopped in Sears. I was looking for a colored blazer. Actually, I bought the white one there a few years ago, and I love it. I don't think coral is my color though. What do you think?

ETA ignore the weird face in 3... not sure what happened there.

I think the black and white suits you very well. I also like the coral on you but would prefer to see this outfit with paler shoes. That's because I am constantly amazed here on the forum at the pop power of white/pale shoes.

Thanks for the votes of confidence on the coral blazer. I still don't think I can do it... BUT I did go on their website and order the same one in black and pool blue. It's extremely rare for me to find a jacket that fits me so well off the rack, so I'm hoping they'll work out.

Lantana, that's interesting about the shoes. I actually wore a lighter pair of grey heels at the office. (I keep my shoes there and change when I leave.) I can not tell you when I have even considered a white pump... guess I will have to keep an open mind.

OK, I'm a spanner here but not a fan of the coral blazer. It's not so much how it looks on you, more there is something off about the shade of coral. Like it's got a hint of neon behind it, which might drive you crazy next year or sooner. So I think you did right sticking to black, white and pool blue.

I really like the black and white outfit on you, and I think the grey pointy heels would look fab too.

I like the coral color on you. Very complimentary with your coloring. And, I think it can be paired with blue.
