Monochrome black and white (well, cream really) outfit today. I wanted to try layering a black blouse under my cream sweater - the only one I have is this sheer silk one with a henley-style neckline. I'm not really sure either the blouse or the sweater has an ideal layering neckline but nevertheless I still like how it came out. Paired them with my old Martin skinnies (my very first YLF inspired purchase - they are too warm for most days but still good for deep winter) and the new Blondos again. There is a little snow on the ground this morning and the Blondos did very well in it, so I am pleased.
Bonus outerwear shot!

ETA: Extra long sleeves in action! I have been knitting all of my sweaters with extra long sleeves these days. I really detest bracelet sleeves and I don't want my wrists showing ever in what purports to be a long sleeve.

handknit sweater, Rory Beca silk blouse, BR Martin skinnies, Blondo Vitalia boots, Kenneth Cole New York coat, Kerisma scarf, Allison Scott handbag.
