We’re having a small get together with a few neighbors. It’s my birthday, so we’re having champagne and chocolate. The champagne is from California, so it’s not really champagne. Whatever. It was 102F today which is the new record high temp for September. We’ll be in the shade and there’s a breeze, so it won’t feel much more than 90 right now.
So naturally I’m dressed as coolly as possible: shorts, linen shirt, sandals. I’m getting my hair cut next week. It’s been three months or so since my last one.
