I brought out new goodies that simply needed an occasion to get out of the closet on our mini getaway.
The jumpsuit was going to go bowling and to late night snacks, but the bowling alley was closed down It did go the mile (or 3) that we walked near the riverfront. The toe ring sandals, unfortunately gave me a blister on top of the left big toe. BF debuting his new red linen pants.
The DVF seems to be my "Mother's Day brunch dress" as those are the 2 occasions I've worn it, last year and this, lol. I think, as Una alluded to on another thread, it is a pretty dress. I like having it for such occasions, but day to day, it might be too pretty for me. Food for thought regarding future dress purchases.
This maxi dress is very very similar to one I tried about a year ago. It might even be the same brand, I can't remember. Last year's version bloused oddly and didn't look quite right. I finally found a winner. Hooray.
And the shoes. I had them in my online cart for a few weeks now. Ever since my other sandal booties went back from being just too high. I tried them on on my way upstairs to the women's clothing. Pointed them out to BF on our way out the store and said I might order in the future. He said, why not get them now, we're right here? Good point. Even better - we got to use his Nordstrom Notes. 'Free' shoes, can't beat that!
A few roadside attractions closer to home on the drive back. No dino's but close! Oh, and cheers with cough syrup at the stroke of midnight. Yeah, we are living wild and on the edge lol. Can't wait for my sinuses to clear up.
