A couple of outfits for fun occasions this weekend. I feel like I've been wearing a lot of simple pullover+jeans outfits so I've been trying to get back to more layered outfits. I love a combo of structured and drapey items.

1: Friday was my birthday so my husband and I went out for a nice dinner to celebrate after work. I went with an old favorite silhouette of lots of black layers. This is a sheer drapery silk blouse layered over a black tank, with a black jacket over the top. Worn with skinnies and tall suede boots.
(Aqua jacket, Rory Beca blouse, halogen tank, Vince skinnies, blondo boots)

2-3: worn on Saturday for a casual Chinese New Year family dinner at my in-laws' home. (I did not wear the hat and shoes in the house). Lots of red (and burgundy) items. I am wearing my ginkgo necklace which was a ylf secret Santa gift from Caro several years ago!
(Handknit vest and hat, trouve tank, ??? Long cardigan, Vince jeans, born oxfords, longchamp bag, ginkgo necklace from ylf secret Santa caro via Etsy).

Apologies for the dark photos. Winter lighting is terrible.
