Today is my Dad's death anniversary and while we remember our hero with fondness it is also a day of tragic loss for our family: HE WAS OUR EVERYTHING.

I chose not to work today as I knew that tears would not be far from my eyes and I would not do a good job concentrating.

At first I wore an all black somber outfit and then decide no: Dad loved me in brights.

So I have on an ATL banded top ( bought at the mall, worn and had tags cut off) and put my black top and jacket away. Necklace form santa fe with many semi precious stones. blue Karen Kane boot cut leggings. black booties. Vegan bag from dsw. MK large watch.

Also last pic: how not to wear a large necklace, how to be a resident of frumpville and how not to wear crop pants.(Mannequin at Nordstrom quality high end local store)

What a beautiful message for your Dad in TofI. He is inspiring, even now, even all the way to Europe. It's very clear that it took being a special person to have such words written for.

So wonderful to choose to celebrate him and his love for life by wearing bright and shiny clothes. I am sure you were the Sun of his life.

And, you know, crying is OK. And when tears dry up, being grateful for having such special people in our lives, however short it may have been, is even better.
