After reading Angie's blog post on belting blazers, I wanted to post this outfit from the week. This time of year I get bored and experimental. The blazer is probably my longest but not as long as the ones in Angie's post. The belt is wide rather than narrow.. I used it to attempt to tie the outfit together.
The blazer is a thrifted Brooks a Brothers and wool trousers, which are looking rather ill-fitting, are thrifted BR. The quality of both pieces is fab. The blazer is lined with cream silk. SE Python Petty booties, snake belt, cream top you cannot see is Joie mixed media silk and cashmere. Scarf is from DS bought on a Cambodian River bank from the weaver.
I enjoyed wearing this as something different from the usual. Even DH, who never comments, liked it, but do you? Should I repeat? Tweek? Is the belt too wide?
