Thank you ladies. You gave me the inspiration and the confidence to do another tucked in look. I did not want to do a 'black suit' and thought of Angie's many tonal posts/advice ( gelato looks, cardi/ structured blouse tonal looks, etc) and thought to go for this.
I also "instructed' the hubster that he needed to wear a shirt with some pink in it too!!
Oooooooooooh Angie I am definitely no Queen tuck but thank you for saying that.
I would say my biggest epiphany has been learning what trends will look good on my figure and what to pass on and also on buying the right size. I think I often bought not for "the life I wish I had" but " the body I thought I had ". Now that I've made peace with the fact that style is not size 6 or 8 I am happier now. I've also learned from Angie and other YLF'ers figure flattery tricks. For example :the blazer/topper helps make me look more streamlined in this wiw and helps pull attention from my lower abdomen which is the widest part of my body.
In some sense I also think of you wonderful ladies as my aunts, mothers and sisters: giving me good, sage, warm advice and gentle nudges/directions. Thank you for the time you take to comment on people's posts and offer thoughtful comments and advice!!
Merci beaucoup mille temps!
