The horribly hot and humid weather lately has left me in kind of a sartorial funk. When I can't wear more than 2 pieces of the lightest, thinnest clothing, all of my style standbys like jackets, denim, handknits, layering, and jewelry are out, leaving me bored with my outfits. So I decided to combat that by doing some wild pattern mixing, which adds a lot of interest without the need for any additional, too-warm pieces.

It's too hot for anything but my cork sandals either. Luckily I have several pairs of Naots. I chose this pair today because I have been reading Daniella's blog from Inge's post yesterday and was inspired by her fun Birkenstock outfits.

Much happier with my outfit today, although I'd love to not sweat through it within 5 minutes of stepping outside. The heat wave is supposed to break on Sunday. CAN NOT WAIT.

H&M dress/tunic worn as a top, Anthro skirt, Naot sandals.
