I was stuck in the house, in jammies, most of this week because I've been sick, and I'm still not 100%, ugh. Yesterday was my first day out in days. This outfit is not all that creative, but effortless and cozy. Worn to lunch, Christmas tree lighting ceremony, art gallery, and student-run fashion show:
1) V-neck black ATL sweaterdress with batwings. I don't think the forum has seen this dress. It's a favorite of mine as it's warm for winter days (substantial weight wool with long sleeves - yeah!!) and can be dressed up or down with flats vs heels. It's loose around the mid section so great for an apple shape, yet fitted in the low hip/thigh area. What's more, the quality of this dress is pretty high, for ATL's standards. I'm going on winter 3 with it and it hasn't pilled at all, despite quite frequent wear.
2) Nine west wedge boots. Yeah, I wear these frequently. The day involved walking around on cobblestones, outside, in 40 degree weather. So too cold for booties, and I was not really in the mood to wear my flat boots.
3) Commando microfishnets to liven things up a bit.
4) Man-repelling BR leopard day clutch
5) Red pashmina (which matches the inside lining of the clutch). Best $3 purchase of the season!
6) Jcrew cobalt coat. Did I mention I love red and cobalt together?
7) Cole Haan sunglasses
