Aida - thanks for sharing your wise eyes. I do think the skirt would be good with winter white, and will remember to show bare arms with jackets!
dustt - the hologram silver flats are Deena and Ozzy from UO - sold out now I think but I've seen similar silver flats without an ankle strap at Old Navy recently. The black boots are BC Footwear cub booties from Amazon, and the taupe booties are Clarks from a previous year, as are the gladiator sandals (those are actually a few years old). I'll definitely try the skater skirt in a summery version - I've been trying to find more cropped length top that works well with it. White + sandals is a good idea.
Thanks Ms.KatieKat - I think some of the dreaminess is the great light that comes through into my living room (and the many, many dust motes, lol), but I do like wearing black with a historical/poetic/soft vibe as well as a contemporary one.
