I thought I was over the skinny-jean look this year, but after living without it for a couple of months, I realized I really missed it! What I'm actually over is the long belted cardigan over skinny bottoms. Here are a few looks from this week, including my newly-skinnied gray corduroys that were bootcut before I altered them. I LOVE how they came out!

When I look in my closet and see my white button-up (pic 2), my first thought is that it's not a "dress-up" day so I won't wear it. This week, I said, IT'S MY FAVORITE SHIRT! Especially for layering! It's comfy and warm and I love the way it feels, so I'm going to wear it as much as I'd like, even if it's just an under layer. So there.

Pic 1:
Cardigan -- Michael Kors (or Kors Michael Kors, I can't keep the brands straight)
Tee -- Liz Claiborne
Necklace -- not sure; TJ Maxx
Leggings -- Yest
Boots -- Frye Veronica Slouch

Pic 2:
Sweater -- Talbots
Shirt -- Ann Taylor
Gray cords -- Tribal, altered to skinnies by me
Booties -- BCBGeneration (LOVE THESE. Tried them on a few months ago and didn't buy them; found them again and didn't make the same mistake twice!)

Pic 3:
Undershirt -- Eileen Fisher silk blend, metallic-y and warm!
Tiger tee -- Bobeau
Jacket -- Amber Sun knit moto (instant fave!)
Burgundy cords -- CAbi (tried these on twice since the summer but didn't buy because I was trying to avoid skinnies; finally picked them up this week!)
Boots -- Frye Veronica Slouch
