WIW: Back to a beautiful winter!

After a fun vacation in my home town, here I am Hope you all had a great time too over the holidays! I was welcomed by the beautiful weather here (15C - 20C). Light showers today too! And I am very cold! Yep, I know most of you are laughing But then this is our boot and jacket season!! And we wait for it for what seems like forever!

I wore this for a shopping trip with DS today. I was warm and cozy (especially in the arctic grocery store!)! The boots had their first outing today and they have been road tested now for comfort I could wear them all day long!

I have no clue if the roll of the jeans was ok. This is my first time with skinnies and cut out boots. Does the roll look weird? Should I just tuck the jeans into the boots?

All suggestions are welcome as always! Thanks for looking!

Those are fab boots Neel! I like the rolled up look on your jeans. If I was to be really nit picky I would suggest a hairs breadth more roll so that they completely clear the tops of your boots. If your jeans were tucked into the boots I'm guessing they may not stay put for long so I prefer them rolled. I love the side view shot with the cut-outs showing.

I'm going to agree with Diane G -- just a bit more roll would accentuate the fact that the roll is a deliberate style choice, if that makes sense.

It seems like tucking the jeans into those boots would look off. I like them rolled, especially the second photo. From the front it looks like they could be interfering with the top of the boot.

Thank you Diane, April and Joy! So a higher roll it is! It seemed weird to roll my jeans so high! Lol! I thoroughly enjoyed the boots too! And for 30$ they are surely much more comfy than I could credit them for!

Funny about how we see our climate's isn't it?? My dd is moving to London UK in a couple of weeks and the weather there is consistantly 10C or so. We joke that she'll be dancing in the streets in her bathing suit, because here it's been -25C or colder for weeks! LOL

She thinks the Brits will just say "Oh, must be a Canadian..."
