Tuesday morning I headed out of town with many of my coworkers for a two-day department wide event. I stayed an extra night to attend some training the next morning. I tried to pack light - two changes of clothes, plus gym gear and pjs in sub-carry-on sized suitcase. Here's how it went down...
#1 Bus ride/Day 1 of meetings/Team Celebration Event (at a local bar/bowling alley)
Floral Blouse - Express
Zippered Cardigan - Reitmans
Green Ankle Trousers - Banana Republic
Pointy Flats - Aldo
#2, #3 Day 2 of Meetings - this is the outfit that sold me on the BR Seamed Sheath Dress. It is not a close, tailored fit like I would normally choose; yet I really like the way it looks. Happiness factor in this outfit is through the roof. Bonus: the ensemble was as comfortable as a sweatshirt and leggings.
Printed Blouse - J.Crew
Sheath Dress - Banana Republic
Argyle Tights - Reitmans
Pointy Flats - Aldo
#4 Day 2 Dinner - I enjoyed some quality time (and a steak, and a glass of red) with myself for dinner as my coworkers had gone home. I improvised casual attire with the cardigan from Day 1, a long sleeved tee I brought in case the hotel room was cool, and my black pants for Day 3. I wanted to give my flats a break so I wore my gym shoes.
Zippered Cardigan - Reitmans
Long Sleeved Tee - Gapfit
Black Ankle Trousers (rolled) - J.Crew
Sneaks - Brooks
#5 Day 3 Training/Train Ride Home - WIW yesterday. I made it in under the wire for pink in October. When I went looking for the black cardigan in 1/4 I unexpectedly loved the deep berry/pink colour. They were cozy, comfy and on sale so I took home both.
Zippered Berry Cardigan - Reitmans
White Button Down Blouse - Express
Black Ankle Trousers - J.Crew
Pointy Flats - Aldo
#6 is all the clothes I packed, less the actual gym clothes and jammies
and finally, #7 - My DH and I had a blast carving pumpkins after I got home last night!
