DH took this photo of me yesterday on the shared neighborhood dock at our house in Maine. The tide was in so the dock was fully floating. When the tide is out the dock sits on the mud flats. The photo makes the dock look longer than it is. Maine ocean water is cold, even in a protected cove like this, so the air temp has to be well into the 90's without a breeze before I'd go into the water, and yesterday it was in the high 80's with a strong breeze off the water.

what you cannot see is that the dock was rocking gently with the waves lulling me almost into sleep. Ahhhhhhhhhh........
