Continuing with my theme of very casual everyday life outfits, here's what I wore a couple of days ago. I had a chance to take a photo but I didn't have time to change my shoes, so you get to see my beloved house slippers that I got at Costco. This is the kind of thing I wear on a typical day at home. I don't wear loungewear until the late evening unless I'm sick or doing very heavy-duty cleaning. I live in a large townhouse complex so every time I leave the front door I'm "out in public." I'm usually in and out several times a day, often with little time to spare, so I like to be dressed and ready to go.
Linen-blend semi-sheer sweatshirt-style top, metallic scale belt, loose straight-leg jeans (not sure if they're 100% flattering, but they're sooo comfy), house slippers - I changed into rose gold metallic Sperry boat shoes when I left the house.
I felt good in this. Does it work?
ETA: Sorry for all the visible laundry! I thought I'd cropped the photo but apparently not. Oh well, I did say this was everyday life
