WIW as the temps rise

Starting to warm up here, not in the morning yet though so layers are required.
1. Retro chic? Boden Dress, BB jacket. I love this 40's type dress. Added nude Ted Baker pumps (from NYC C21!!) Easy and breezy. This is the long but I'm considering a dupe in solid red, should I get the regular length?
2-3 Preppytastic : Sweater Talbots, blouse JNY, BR pants and trench, 9West pumps
4 Psuedo suit mixing blues and blacks: Caslon black slouchy pants, Calvin belt, Ann Taylor silk blouse (consignment), Calvin navy blazer. 9 west pumps
5. Gap jeans, J Crew linen blouse, Halogen blazer, needed some beads, Nixon watch, Kelsi Dagger shoes, Calvin belt, Nixon watch.

Thanks for looking and all suggestions are welcome.

Wow! Love the striped sweater and floral blazer the best! As in I envy you those pieces! You can really rock a blazer. You just look fab.

Jeanne, you look SO stylish in all of these. I love the golden color of 1. You positively glow in that--not a color that many of us can wear and boy, do you wear it well. LOVE the preppytastic outfit. That is something I would love to wear--I will have to enjoy the skinny ankle pants vicariously. The other two are fab blazer outfits. I'm so glad you kept the floral one. It's so fun and on trend. Did you end up returning the floral bomber? I haven't seen that one in action yet. (I ended up returning both of mine.)

Great outfits. So happy to see your WIW's!

ETA: Oops, I love the length of the dress. It makes your legs look SO long. I think if you are going to wear with a jacket, the extra length makes the proportions just perfect.

You are looking great! I love the golden dress on you -- just gorgeous. I like it at this length, so can't really say which length for the duplicate. In a solid the effect might be a bit different and also red is brighter, so that would be a factor.

You're at your prepster best in 2/3! And the floral blazer is a total wow!!

YLF in all of these - only suggestion is I would probably leave the necklace off in #1 & wear a cuff.

I love all of these looks, Jeanne...but I am really in love with you in that Boden dress in #1. What a fabulous color/pattern/shape for you. Fantastic!

I think duplication of that dress is in order.

1 and 5 are my favorites. I really like these colors on you. I hope you get the red version of #1 and like the long length on you. Your legs look amazing.

#1 is just stunning--you wear that retro dress like nobody's business! The colors are wonderful on you. I like the length. I bet you'd look fab in the shorter version, too, so it might be fun to have a different length for the red one. Or not--the midi is so great on you.
All of the looks here are terrific. You look like Spring personified in #5--I'm really drawn to that floral on you, especially paired with the yummy cream tones.

Wow relly couldn't get past the dress - the colour, style & fit are perfect. The jacket looks good and all the accessories work - an 11 out of 10.

Thank you all for your kind words and confirmation of the dress I am in love with. It's not my normal style, but wearing it I felt really good. I've wanted a shirt dress, but have issues with fit and gap in most. This had none and I loved the drape and really took a chance on this color/print and am glad it works because I do like it a lot even if it's outside my preppy palette. Something about it made me feel like bicycling through Provence (a far cry from going to work and picking up the kids like I really did)

Kelly I did return the floral bomber as I just couldn't make it work for me. I am glad to have the floral blazer, I need to experiment a bit more with it to up the cool and fun factor and downplay the mumsiness.

Deborah thank you for missing me. I've been so busy I'm still taking photos, but haven't taken time to get them off the camera and post much. I pop in and read a lot, and try to post a little. I always check out your WIW because you have such fantastic style.

So nice to see you after a long time. #1 and 4 are my absolute favourites. I always enjoy seeing your outfits as you have a great style and a beautiful wardrobe. I just feel like stealing the dress in #1

#1&#5 are my favourites followed closely by preppy pink and navy. I agree that #5 needs beads but would like to see you wear the golden dress without adornment - your hair fills that role perfectly. I think you could play up the suit vibe with an up do but I know this is not something that is done in the twinkling of an eye.
Congratulations on these outfits. You really look well turned out in all of them.

Wow, all of these are just amazing! My favorite is #5; love the pattern mix and the colors! Very modern.

I love the length of the dress in #1, and would keep going with talls in you duplicate. The longer length makes it more retro and glam.

Only suggestions are:
-Leave off the necklace in #1.
-Not necessary, but you could add a thin belt to amp the retro-vibe.
-As a change, button up the shirt in #5.

Gorgeous Spring looks, Jeanne! Yes, the gold is working so beautifully for you, and I like the length of the dress. For red, however, with its boldness, just at the bottom of the knee might be even better.

I'm also admiring your elegant footwear and the amazing way you wear crops. You long lower legs and perfect fits make this a stellar look for you.

I have missed your fun, happy, layered, adorned and preppy outfits, Jeanne! What a treat

#1 is KILLER to the power of KILLER. We do not see that type of elegant, professional outfit in that colour on YLF very often. The BIG necklace makes the look. And the new shoes are perfect! WOW!! (Yes, duplicate in red and keep the length).

And the rest of you outfits are great Spring looks that you wear with the best of them! Nice to see the floral jacket come out to play

Oh my goodness Jeanne - that dress in outfit #1 is incredibly gorgeous on you! Not everyone could wear that colour so beautifully. It's like it was made for you.

Love your other outfits too - the Halogen jacket in the last outfit is just fab with your whites.
