Hi everyone,

Last Friday I decided to mix four different patterns, definitely a record for me. I used tonal colours and loved it, still this is probably as maximal as you'll ever see me:-)

- black button-down shirt with tiny white polka dots
- animal print vest
- weave patterned wide-legged trousers
- python print booties
- sangria leather jacket
- cream bag

All thoughts and suggestions welcome.

Inge, this is divine. So elegant. I love tonal colors, and you've done a masterful job of mixing these patterns.

I also love how you posed among the bicycles. Such a great composition with the symmetrical row of bikes and yellow as the only pop of color. Very artistic!

Gorgeous Inge!! You look amazing! I have a Foxcroft blouse similar to yours that I bought at NAS. It's great to see how you've styled it. The wideleg trousers are amazing and I adore that cream bag too.
ETA: If that is the Elie Tahari jacket from NAS I have that too. If I were younger and had a different lifestyle I'd want to be your style twin.

Nancylee - (*smiling about the PPL*) It was a spur of the moment thing, I saw the yellow bikes and knew it could make a great picture.

Jamie - I just know those trousers will look divine on you. And I am loving these booties, so comfortable and the pattern & colour are beautiful.

Ariadne - No, we walked all over the city (Brussels), but I could easily have gotten on the bike in this outfit. I've worn very similar clothes while biking (leisurely pace) around Antwerp.

Una - You just made my day, thank you:-) I do try to pay attention to fit, and am fortunate that I don't need alterations all that often.

Angie - *waving back* It must have been something in the air:-) Pattern mixing is definitely a lot of fun, and this outfit made me happy. (And thank you again for recommending the leather jacket, I want to wear it all the time.)

lyn - So very sweet of you to say that. I don't have a good spot inside to take full length pictures and the lighting is not great either, and I don't like posting so-so photos (but still do sometimes).

Denise - These items were purchased individually over the last two years, and it wasn't until last Friday that I realized they could really work together. I'm chuffed to hear that you lasses think it's a winning combination.
