I totally agree with Angie’s rave reviews of the Anthropologie Maeve Carys sweater https://youlookfab.com/2025/10.....ther-tops/.

I bought two in October,: "swan" which is a very light blue with a black abstract swan outline, and “fresh berry” which is burgundy with very light blue topstitching.

The fit is what initially grabbed me. I don't like a cropped look on my short-waisted body, and I also don't like the look of the hem hitting at or below the widest part of my thighs. That gives very little room to get a good length, hence sweater shopping very difficult for me. I wear sweaters 9 months a year in various weights so it's a lot of work.

This sweater, sized down to a XXS is just right. It gets a little pilled on the forearms, but my defuzzing tool takes care of that. I can wear these for many months with underlayers ranging from tanks to Uniqlo heat tech mock neck tops.

It comes in a LOT of different colors and patterns. I also have the blue floral print from last year but have not worn it yet this fall.

Outfit #1: Dark wash Jeans (NYDJ Marilyn Straight), burgundy sweater (Carys "fresh berry"), brown suede booties (Talbots), brown crossbody (Rebecca Minkoff), and not shown in photo - blue coat that is insulated and water resistant (LLBean). These are the same booties/bag I showed in another recent WIW.

Outfit #2:grey bootcut jeans (Democracy itty bitty bootcut), (Carys “swan”), black puffer vest (Bernardo), grey suede booties (Naturalizer), black cross body bag (Radley)
