Here is another repeat with a tweak. When I posted the original outfit (pic 2) back in November, I commented that it felt like it was missing something. I wondered if a denim jacket might improve the proportions. Well, I bought a denim jacket in December and last week I decided to put my theory to the test. The topper definitely helps balance my top and bottom halves. And the yellow of the handbag breaks up the abundance of dark neutrals. The pointy-toe flats look more modern and polished than the worn out suede ballet flats that were tossed after I saw how bad they looked in the picture.
