WIW: Angie's pussy-bow blouse

I haven't been on the forum that much lately, but I saw Angie's post about the BR shirt one morning and literally ordered it right then and there on my phone as I walked into a meeting. I wore it today to our Board Meeting and loved it - Thanks Angie!

I paired it with an old thrifted knife pleat skirt and my favourite floral heels (I love stripes and florals!) and an old leather jacket that I rediscovered during my closet cleanout to give it a little edge (though I have to admit, like Angie, I love the ladylike element to this outfit after years of so much slouch.) I love the fitted silhouette (Which I haven't worn in ages!) and can't wait to pair it with other patterns like animal print.

@dana - I had the same thought! The waistband of the sort looks unfinished somehow - I think a belt would help.

@Tanya I loved your rendition! Did you tie the tie differently than in a bow? It looked that way.

Love the different elements together, especially the shoes-fab on their own-with the blouse and jacket. This is a fun challenge. Don't have the right shirt to try it yet.

Thanks, Roxanna. Yes, I did not tie the tie into a bow, I loosely knotted it, kind of like when men loosen-up their ties. I would not wear it tied in a bow at my workplace, perhaps somewhere else.
