Angie's latest formula has rescued this skirt from the bottom of the ironing basket. I tried it with red shoes but the blush look better to my eye.
And I'm "proudly wearing nude hose", so thanks Angie, on two counts.
It's ages since I've posted (regretfully) but I have been lurking and learning.
I'm afraid my photos are still fuzzy though.
Any feedback would be most welcome, as always.

It's a vintage skirt, made in Africa. It has motifs of African traditional village life scattered all over, so I guess it It is like a toile.

Suz, thanks for your generous comments. Angie Pinned a black and silver outfit of yours not so long ago. You look marvellous in it and I plan to copycat it come winter. Just need a silver belt and scarf.

Tanya, thank you but I really have to deflect your praise to the lass in Seattle. I confess the way I had been styling this skirt, with olive accessories all the way, was dull as ditchwater, Hooray for Angie.

Well, it looks like Angie came into your home and styled it herself. So, so fab! You wear a white blouse beautifully, your hair is gorgeous, your slender legs are so wonderful in the skirt and ballet flats. I, too, love the ethnic toile print. The belt is perfect.

Penny! We missed you. So good to see you, and from the looks of your outfit, you have been learning a lot in the interim! What a beautiful full skirt and white blouse combination. The belt and shoes are just perfect with it. Okay, now you have me thinking about full skirts all over again after I had given up on them. But if I could find a fluid, beautiful, special skirt like this one, I'd be all over it. Well done!

Claire, you are absolutely right, I have been learning during my absence and experiencing a creative but solitary time putting the lessons into practice. Nothing beats feedback from the forum however, and I just hope I can manage to keep involved.
