WIW: Angie's formula of romantic top + casual heels

Earlier this week I did the first bermuda short formula, and here is the second formula from Angie's blog this week!

I like this top although I suspect that this kind of wrinkley dyed pattern is , well, dying. The "heels" are my kinda heels, really a low wedge.

Top: ? (the rack)
Shorts: Kut from the Kloth
Sandals: Teva Ventura cork

Those sandals don't look like the Tevas I am used to - I like those and they aren't "gear" like most Tevas are. Nice choice.
You do the formula well and shirt looks perfect for summer heat.

I like your outfit and your sandals are great! I have a similar "crinkle-dyed" top that I really like, and I keep wondering about whether it is still OK to wear it. I see a lot of tops like this this year, so perhaps that are not entirely "a dying breed".

Isis, I don't think shibori is dying in a hurry; in fact, around my part of the world, it appears to be enjoying a revival and a new impetus! So no worries on that count.

However, I love the colours of your top --- it's like an ink painting. Softened by washes and technique, and ever so beautiful in its poise. You look gorgeous in those colours, poetry in person, and the perfect length and fit of those bermudas is just the right foil. And as for those shoes, I'm ever so impressed! Never seen Tevas like that, as Christieanne says. Fab find.

Simply gorgeous Isis. I wore romantic clothes for many years and got away from it when I quit working. The pieces in my wardrobe that I really love tend to have a romantic bend, be it clothing or jewellery.

The top in particular is stunning and looks extraordinary on you.

That is a really nice look on you Isis! I love the soft top, the shorts are perfection, and I cannot *believe* those are Teva's. They are very attractive wedges! You look fab!
