WIW-Angie's client copycat - YouLookFab Forum

I have admired Angie's client, Karen, and her chic, fun and sophisticated style ever since we first met her here on YLF. I have wanted to copy her fresh summer outfit with the citron sweater for quite some time and decided to give it a whirl today. The weather was perfect for this lightweight lemon yellow cotton sweater and scarf. I think next time I will swap out the shoes for a black sandal or my black and silver wedges and see if that works a little better. Also' I'm wondering if the skinny jeans are too short...what do you think. I might try my white BF's or flares next time and see how that looks, but overall, I was quite happy in this outfit!

Whether they're supposed to be ankle pants or not, I'd call them ankle pants and call it fabulous! I love citron and white.

Gorgeous! The pant length looks fine to me. The zippers help make the length look deliberate. Now I want to copy this outfit.

Looks great - jeans work as ankle length especially with the skin toned shoes.

Great outfit, Carole! I like the skinny jeans, and with the zips, they look like they are supposed to be ankle jeans, so I think the length is good. Karen's style is very inspiring--great idea to copy!

Great outfit Carole. Works well with the lemon yellow as well as her citron. Karen is quite an inspiration, isn't she? I admired this particular outfit as well. Hmm, I don't have citron, but I DO have a neon citronny sort of colour that might work.... hmm...

I think your pants are fine. I also like these shoes, but black/silver would also be great if you wanted to change it up a bit.

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words:) Citron is a color I wouldn't have chosen without Karen's and Angie's inspiration....but I love adding this sunny fun hue in spring when temperatures are still chilly!
